Requirement Gathering
Infotree’s testing team perform test case development using their proprietary solution called ClicTest, which comprises of a unique concept called Requirement Scenario which compliments the agile methodology of capturing requirements at a rapid speed in the form of audio and video file. This replaces the laborious process of writing requirement documents.
With Test Scenario, organizations can record Requirements and View/Play back the recorded requirements with the help of Test Scenario. In today’s generation, there is a rapid increase in the complexity of software development and this is making organizations to include software testing as early as possible in the project. Always an early introduction of testing reduces the cost, time to work and an error free software is delivered in the market. This suggests that ClicTest effectively compliments all the phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) starting from the Requirements Gathering phase till the deployment of the software.
In the Waterfall Model, software testing is performed in the Testing phase only. However, in the Incremental model, testing is introduced at the end of each iteration and at the end the whole application. Performing testing during requirement gathering phase helps in the analysis and verification of the requirements.
